Carlas in Näsby and Grönhögen
Carla and Jonne founded Carlas café in Näsby by pure chance a little over 10 years ago.
At first, trying to find a barn to brew beer in. But as soon as they saw the nice old barn, they fell in love, and decided to start a café with live music.
In 2024, they also took over the Boat house in Grönhögen, Carlas the Harbor. They serve simple dishes, coffee and a selection of good wines, beers and other drinks. Enjoy the magnificent sunset on the outdoor terrace
overlooking the water.

Food, music and a fantastic garden
The large barn is perfect for the purpose. In the middle of the building there are still traces of the stalls that were here when cows, horses and pigs filled the barn. And now there is both a café/restaurant and a stage for live music, quizzes and other events. The perfect combo.
Carla and Jonne have created a warm and inviting environment that could not be more rural, or for that matter more southern Öland. In front of the small stage are flea market finds, donated gadgets and second hand bargains, sofas, armchairs, chairs and tables in a lovely mix. Where the horses would have been in the stalls is the café counter where guests order food, short-run soft drinks and beer, including the own house beer from Öland's Kackelbryggeriet.
And of course homemade bread!

CARLAS AT THE HARBOR
Enjoy something delicious at sunset
At the far end of Grönhögen's harbor with a fantastic view of the sea and a wonderful sunset location is the old boathouse. The building is a 114-year-old rescue station with large rounded windows facing the sea.
Here you can enjoy simple dishes such as sandwiches. Sometimes there are also events such as quizzes, storytelling evenings or wine tasting in the magnificent sunset on the outdoor terrace facing the water.

We have extensive experience in arranging musical events and concerts
and quizzes in both Näsby, the Harbor and other places.

Our seating is unnumbered and mixed with standing and sitting. We have an age limit of 13 for most concerts.
